Is gratuity included in the charter price? No, gratuity is not included. It’s customary to tip your captain 20% of the charter price at the end of your trip, which they’ll share with their crew. Of course, the final tip amount should reflect your experience – a great day on the water is the best guide for tipping.

Is a deposit required?

What's included in my charter price?

Texas Mosca provides all the fishing equipment you’ll need, plus ice and water. We use only top-of-the-line gear to ensure you have the best possible experience on the water.

How many people can join a charter?

Our boats accommodate up to 2 guests comfortably. For larger groups, we can arrange multiple boats to fish together.

How long are the charters and when do they start?

We offer both 4-hour and 8-hour charter options. Your captain will contact you before your trip to confirm the meeting location and departure time, which varies based on the season and target species. Morning charters typically depart between 7:00-8:00 AM, while afternoon half-day trips usually leave around 1:00 PM.

What should I bring on my trip?

Your captain will provide specific clothing recommendations based on the weather forecast. Generally, you should bring food, beverages, a camera, and a hat. We’ll give you a detailed packing list before your charter.

What type of shoes should I wear?

Rubber-soled shoes only, please. Avoid black soles as they can leave marks on the boat deck.
