Brazos River

FLY FISHING TRIPS

Experience the unparalleled adventure of a fly fishing trip on the Brazos River.

Spring in Texas marks the arrival of sand bass season! Our guided fly fishing trips run from February through April, with March being the peak time. The adventure takes place on the Brazos River, just above Lake Whitney, near Rio Vista. While sand bass are the main target, anglers often reel in striped bass, largemouth bass, and other species as well.

This boat trip offers plenty of wading opportunities. We recommend bringing waders, especially for the cooler months. Later in the season, shorts and wading boots are perfectly suitable for a comfortable day on the water.
